Health & Safety Planning
Health & Safety Planning
Health & Safety is extremely important to ensure that all
members of the team are safe when filming in locations which may be deemed as
dangerous. Our video doesn’t require any locations which will put any team
member in danger, however we can still prevent possible injury and making sure
we are all safe by following a few rules:
·
Camera
strap is around neck at all times
·
Each
member knows their role and what they are doing properly
·
Get
granted permission to film in the locations we need to use
·
Make
sure the costume fits properly and is safe
·
Any
props used are toy props. Anything that could be seen as a weapon is handled
with extra pre caution
·
All
members of the team are well and aware of what they are doing
·
Filming
area is clear and safe for the rapper
Our music video doesn’t require
much health and safety planning due to the simplicity of it. However we still
need to follow these crucial rules to make sure that when we do film we prevent
any injury from happening and that each member of the group is safe.

Pitch Plan
This is our A3 pitch plan which helped us bring our narrative to life. It guided us create and plan out the ideas we had thought of that would make our music video successful and appropriate for the genre. Overall this pitch plan was very effective in the process of making the music video. For instance it helped us think of the most appropriate mise en scene, narrative, genre, editing techniques and cinematography for our music video.

Animatic
This is a video of our animatic which shows the storyboard to our music video. It represents what is going to happen on every single lyric in the song. This will play a vital part in the process of making the music video. This is because it lets us know what locations, props and costumes to use in the video. A storyboard is very effective because it helps us plan out everything we are aiming to achieve instead of thinking of something random which isn't appropriate. It will also make filming less time consuming as the director will know what to do with every shot.

Raw Footage (Music Video)
Here is some of the raw footage from the first shoot of our music video. In these segments you can see that we filmed Kelechi rapping in front of a black curtain. In the process of editing, we increased the contrast to ensure that the curtains are not visible, giving the effect that the rapper is segregated from the real world. In the second verse, the music video is going to open up and a costume change will come into effect.
